Print Size Guide
CHOOSING THE RIGHT PRINT SIZE
Artwork does more than fill a wall — it sets the mood of a room, brings rhythm to a space, and reflects something of who you are. Whether you're selecting a single piece or curating a gallery wall, size plays an important role in how your artwork feels and fits.
A print that's too small can feel disconnected or get lost on a large wall. One that's too large can overwhelm the room. The right size creates balance — so the artwork feels considered.
As a rule of thumb, artwork hung above furniture looks best when it spans roughly two-thirds of the width of the piece below it. Measure your sofa, bed, or sideboard before you choose.

Hallways & smaller spaces
Versatile and easy to place — works well in hallways, bedrooms, or grouped with other pieces on a gallery wall.

Above king size beds, couches, consoles & feature walls
Designed to anchor a room — ideal for larger living spaces, or when you want your artwork to lead the conversation.
1200mm+

For foyers and generous wall spaces where the artwork sets the tone for the entire room. These pieces are best experienced with space around them — nothing competing, nothing cluttering.
ORIENTATION - SQUARE

Gallery walls & smaller spaces
Sits well on its own on a smaller wall, or alongside other pieces in a gallery arrangement. A great starting point for collecting.

Bedroom & living spaces
A confident presence on the wall — works well above a bedside table, in a dining area, or as a focal point in a smaller room.
800 x 800mm
Living rooms & dining areas
Striking and balanced — a square at this scale feels both grounded and contemporary. Works beautifully above a sideboard or sofa.

ORIENTATION
Portrait
Taller than it is wide. Portrait prints draw the eye upward and suit spaces with height to work with — hallways, narrow walls, or alongside tall furniture like bookshelves or bedheads.
Landscape
Wider than it is tall. Landscape prints have a natural, expansive quality — they follow the horizon and feel at home above sofas, beds, and sideboards where the wall is wide and low.
Square
Equal in width and height. Square prints have a calm, balanced quality that works in almost any space. They sit well on their own or grouped in pairs and threes for a considered, gallery-style feel.
SIZE WITH FRAMING
Canvas & Frame to Edge
The frame adds minimal size to your print. What you order is close to what goes on the wall.
Frame with Matt Board
A matt adds to the overall framed size on your wall. Factor in the matt width on each side when planning your space — a 50mm matt adds 100mm to both the width and height of your print.
