1. Prints

Printing

Artwork is printed in New Zealand by professional fine art printing lab. 

Prints are produced using  Epson SC-P20070 and Epson Ultrachrome Pro Inks which are designed to be light-fast. 

 

PAPER

Photographs are typically printed on premium Hahnemühle Photo Rag 308gsm artist paper, unless otherwise stated.  This white cotton artist’s paper has a wonderfully soft feel, with a lightly defined felt structure, enhancing each artwork three-dimensional appearance and pictorial depth. It is acid- and lignin-free and ISO 9706 conform / museum quality for highest age resistance.

The combination of the wide tonal range of the printing inks and the fine art paper we use enhances the painterly style of my photographs.

 

Print Sizes

Limited Edition Photographic Prints

• Print only: print size is image size plus white border 2cm to 5cm approx depending on image size for print orders only.
• Print + Frame: print size is image size plus 2cm border. As print is either framed to edge or with a mat, a minimal white border is required. 

Limited Edition Painting Prints 

• Print only: print sizes are image size plus 5cm border.
• Print + Frame: print size is image size plus small border for frame to edge or with a mat.

 

Print Only Orders

To avoid any damage or finger marks on print, open your print at your framers.

Glazing

You have the choice of: Standard Glass and Art Glass (UltraVue® UV70). We recommend the later for it's protective and antireflective qualities.  (See Tips on Hanging Artwork).

3. Delivery

Unframed Prints

Packaging & Postage

• Prints are rolled with tissue and placed in a protective cylinder at Professional Fine Art Printing Lab.

 

Framed Prints

• Framed artwork is packaged and delivered by Pack & Send. A professional shipping service in New Zealand used by leading art galleries and framers.
• Packaging: Artwork is wrapped with cellair and then a insert layer of card is put over the face of the work. It is next wrapped with multiple layers of jumbo bubble to provide a cushion. We place the wrapped work in a custom made cardboard art box.

4. Canvas

Printing: Printed on premium quality Ilford 370 and 450gsm canvas. Hahnemühle matte varnish which provides the best result as there is no reflection. 

Sizes: Available sizes shown on artwork page. 

Options: Available as:

• canvas unstretched (Available International customers)
• canvas stretched ready to hang - Available upon request.
• canvas stretched and framed with a Floating Frame - Available upon request.

Print only includes 60 - 70mm bleed for stretching.  

NB: Stretched, and Stretched & Framed only available for delivery within New Zealand. Unstretched available for international customers - contact us if interested.

Frame options: Floating Frames - also known as Tray Frames.

Tray Frame Colours: White, Black, Natural, Charcoal, Black Woodgrain. 

 * Framing for canvas prints are available upon request. Production and delivery is quicker for Canvas Print only orders. This also saves you additional cost of delivery which you can put toward stretching and/or framing.  We recommend taking to your local framer to stretch and decide on frame that will best suit your decor and wall space.
