Artist Statement

Radiant Red Tulips

A captivating composition featuring three tulips in varying shades of red, against a bold black background. The focal tulip, illuminated by light filtering through its delicate petals, glows with rich intensity. Asymmetrical green leaves create a dynamic contrast, emphasizing the depth and vibrancy of the reds.  The balance of complementary colours and the almost abstract quality of the composition create a bold, dramatic statement piece.

This artwork works beautifully on its own or as part of a cohesive set with Magenta Tulip – Into the Light and Portrait of a Magenta Tulip Close-Up. Display them as a duo, trio, or within a curated gallery wall to bring vibrant botanical drama into your space.
