A stunning photo of Lake Hayes in Queenstown, New Zealand, captured during a fleeting golden hour of serene beauty.
At the end of a clear winter's day, I waited by the lake, accompanied only by ducks, hoping for that perfect golden light. Initially, the glow seemed ordinary, and I began to leave. But as I glanced back, the scene had transformed—bathed in a magical light. I quickly took this shot; the moment lasted only a minute, but it was pure harmony.
This photo is a testament to patience and timing, reminding us that the most breathtaking moments are often fleeting and unexpected.
