I was drawn to painting this scene after spending some time at Moke Lake in Queenstown, NZ.
In the quiet of Moke Lake's surroundings, there's a sense of calm. "Moke Lake Reflection" captures this peace, where the landscape mirrors the stillness of the water. The reflection on the lake does more than replicate the scenery; it becomes a metaphor for personal reflection, a moment where the external beauty of nature harmonises with our inner peace.
