It was a drizzly early autumn morning, with low clouds draped over distant mountains and a calm lake mirroring the moody sky. The air was crisp, yet I stood there for a long time, captivated by the quiet pull across the water.
The jetty felt like more than just a wooden path—it symbolized a gateway to Milford Sound, where every step forward hinted at the adventure beyond. Once you cross that threshold, you are spellbound by the journey ahead.
