    I'm Kirsten, a New Zealand artist working in both fine art photography and oil painting.

    I create work that reflects a love of detail, mood, and form — inspired by the natural world and the spaces we live in.
    Through my lens and brush I invite you to pause, reflect and find serenity in the natural world.

    My photographic work merges the worlds of photography and painting, often with a painterly effect. Influenced by traditional, impressionist, and plein air painting, these floral portraits and landscapes are created to evoke feeling — capturing mood, detail, and atmosphere in a single frame.

    Alongside photography, my studio practice
    includes painting landscapes and florals in oil, exploring texture, light, and mood.
